According to the documentary, The Best of Martial Arts, the fight scene between Jackie Chan and Benny ‘The Jet’ Urquidez in Wheels on Meals was once voted the best fight scene of all time. And while I agree that it’s a good fight, it tends to overshadow other great moments in the film. This being one of them.
It’s always great to see Yuen Biao flipping all over the place but the gimmick here is so good: he has to run away from an opponent in a way only he can. Watch the couch scene and tell me that isn’t amazing. He’s so bloody acrobatic.
